What is MIMO Technology?

Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) technology is equivalent to a Smart Antenna wherein it has lots of capabilities to capture better signal quality. MIMO is now being used as part of the IEEE 802.11n standards. It uses more than one antenna and radio in order to capture and transmit better signal. MIMO is currently implemented over the Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) technology which is used for data transmission over the air.
